Allen-Bradley 6200 or ICOM Software for PLC-5s

This forty-hour course provides a thorough, hands-on familiarity with either the Allen-Bradley 6200 or ICOM software. There are extensive exercises and opportunities for practice on PLC-5 simulators.

After this class, participants will be able to:

• Launch the PLC-5 software

• Open a PLC-5 software project

• Attach to the correct PLC-5 on DH+ and go online

• Use the features of the Standard tool bar, Online toolbar, Tabbed instruction toolbar and the Online edit toolbar in the software

• Use the PLC-5 software to display and maneuver through a ladder program

• Use the PLC-5 software to display Data table files and configure the data in the files

• Use the Project Tree window to display or configure: Controller Properties, Processor Status, Channel status, Ladder Program files, Cross Reference file, Data Table files, Force table files

• Use the PLC-5 software to show the ladder program editing functions

• Use the PLC-5 software to document a ladder program

• Use the Search features of the PLC-5 software

• Use the Force functions of the PLC-5 software

• Save and Backup a PLC-5 software project
