Introduction to SLC 500s

This course provides a hands-on overview of the Allen Bradley SLC 500 programmable controller Hardware; Software and Basic Instruction sets.

Introduction to PLC-5s

This course provides a hands-on overview of the Allen-Bradley PLC-5 programmable controller Hardware; Software and Basic Instruction sets.

Introduction to ControlLogix w/ RSLogix 5000™

This course provides a thorough, hands-on familiarity with the newer Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processor and RSLogix5000™ software.

RSLogix500™ Software - Level One

This course covers the Allen Bradley SLC 500 hardware and RSLogix500™ software.

RSLogix500™ Software - Level Two

This course is for advanced users who want to be able to develop & create SLC 500 programs from scratch using the powerful features of the Allen-Bradley RSLogix500™ software. Advanced troubleshooting features of the software and use of Advanced Instructions Sets may also be included based on customer need.

SLC 500 Communications

This course covers the Communication networks and systems needed by SLC 500s. Topics include: Input and Output communications, controller and terminal communications, controller -to- controller communications, & hardware and software configuration and connection for each type of communications.

RSLogix5™ Software – Level One

This course provides a thorough, hands-on familiarity with the Allen-Bradley RSLogix5™ software including troubleshooting tools.

RSLogix5™ Software – Level Two

This course is for advanced users who want to be able to develop & create PLC-5 programs from scratch using the powerful features of the Allen-Bradley RSLogix5™ software. Advanced troubleshooting features of the software and use of Advanced Instructions Sets may also be included based on customer need.

PLC-5 Communications

This course covers the Communication networks and systems needed by PLC-5s. Topics include: Input and Output communications, controller and terminal communications, controller -to- controller communications, & hardware and software configuration and connection for each type of communications.

Advanced Troubleshooting with SLC 500s

This course provides experienced participants an opportunity to expand their troubleshooting skills with the more advanced and powerful features of SLC 500 software not covered in earlier courses. Systems integration & troubleshooting skills are customized to customer needs.

Advanced Troubleshooting with PLC-5s

This course provides experienced participants an opportunity to expand their troubleshooting skills with the more advanced and powerful features of PLC-5 software not covered in earlier courses. Systems integration & troubleshooting skills are customized to customer needs.

Panelviews – 1000, 1200, & 1400

This course emphasizes the PLC/SLC and PanelView system in an integrated process environment. Troubleshooting includes: system hardware, messages, alarms and fault detection techniques. A longer version includes in-depth development of screens using Panel Builder.

Allen-Bradley Variable Frequency Drives – 1336, 1336 Plus, 1305

This course covers the functional configuration of the drives and presents methods for performing maintenance and troubleshooting.

Allen-Bradley 6200 and ICOM Software for PLC-5s

These courses cover software for older installed systems still needing to be maintained.

PLC-5 or SLC 500 Introductory Topics

This course includes an overview of relay logic – its symbols, structure and how it is converted to ladder logic; how to interpret ladder logic diagrams; a review of number systems and, if needed Basic Windows skills required for successful use of PLCs/SLCs.
