This class provides a hands-on overview of the newer Allen-Bradley ControlLogix programmable controller hardware; and the RSLogix5000 Software. This class does not cover motion control instruction sets. Extensive opportunities are provided for practice on ControlLogix simulators with complete RSLogix 5000 software programs pre-loaded. |

This class is for intermediate to advanced users who want to improve their program design & troubleshooting skills using the powerful features of the Allen-Bradley RSLogix500TM software. Input and Output communications, SLC 500 and terminal communications, and SLC 500-to-SLC 500 communications will also be covered. Use of Advanced Instructions Sets may also be included based on student interest. There are extensive exercises and opportunities for practice on SLC500 simulators. |

This class provides an introduction to human machine interfaces (HMI), focusing on the RSView32 software. There will be extensive opportunities to develop RSView32 programs which will communicate with SLC 500 5/05 processors using Ethernet communications with an OPC server. |
