IBM client training will be hosted at our DEC Computer Training Lab.  Nationwide Training Alliance has selected CBIL DEC lab as their St. Louis based training site.

CBIL has developed working relationships with a number of companies and governmental agencies that complement CBIL services. Please consider these companies and organizations in your search for resources.

Workforce and Community Development:

• Employment and Training Center (ETC) – Supporting the area’s workforce through retraining and outplacement efforts. The centers provide career counseling, job referrals, classroom training and on-the-job training services. http://www.stlcc.edu/fp/work/
• Metropolitan Education Training Center (MET) – An innovative collaboration among state and local government, St. Louis Community College, and other community based agencies. • Police Academy Program – A cooperative program for providing basic police training and continuing education classes to maintain the quality of the existing police force. The agreement encourages the sharing of instructional staff, facilities, and programs. http://www.stlcc.edu/wcd/police.htm
• Workforce Development Programs (WDP) – Providing services to assist workers enter and remain competitive in the marketplace. Initiatives that expand the scope of services to businesses, acknowledging and addressing the shifts in marketplace requirements.

• Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This State of Missouri Department is a source for underwriting the cost of training. CBIL is a long time writer of DESE grant applications. http://www.dese.mo.gov/
