Increased Training Performance

Like high-performance automobiles, training programs benefit from periodic reviews or “tune ups.” Like the automobile tune up, periodic reviews increase the overall performance and efficiency of your training programs. Whether your training staff consists of trained facilitators or non-trained subject matter experts, periodic changes of material or presentation formats can generate new enthusiasm and greater effectiveness.

 

Experienced CBIL personnel can provide the extra “set of eyes” needed to review your programs and develop the methods that get the best results. Our review services are tuned to the specific situations faced by each client. In general, they fall into three areas: 1) Content, 2) Presentation, and 3) Needs.

 

Content Level Review – An experienced CBIL instructional designer can review the content of all or selected courses currently part of your training program. A good starting point is with programs that have been receiving lower satisfaction or effectiveness ratings. In addition to examining programs from an instructional design perceptive, CBIL professionals also can offer suggestions, based on sound adult/professional learning techniques, to improve the effectiveness of your training programs.

  • The Content Review examines the written material flow, presentation layout, reinforcement exercises, and visual aid usage.

Presentation Level Review – An experienced CBIL facilitator can review the presentation of all or selected courses currently part of the training program. Like the Content Level Review, a good starting point is with programs that have been receiving lower satisfaction or effectiveness ratings. CBIL facilitators can offer suggestions, tips, and techniques that can help non-professional trainers present material with more impact and ensure greater participant satisfaction.

  • The Presentation Review observes the live presentation of the content materials and provides specific improvement feedback for individual training facilitators.

Needs Level Review – An experienced CBIL Performance Analyst can provide a training gap analysis to identify the specific training needs of an organization, or a specific team. In their analysis, CBIL Performance Analysts review the performance of an organization or a team against its training goals and objectives. Using the central question, “Why is there a lack in performance?” CBIL Analysts can provide a thorough gap analysis with suggested improvement ideas.
